Momma & Me Greensicle Smoothie

I love smoothies, especially if they include a green veggie. Kale is my go to smoothie addition for all the vitamins it adds along with calcium and fiber. It is high in calcium and vitamin K, one cup of kale contains about 52 milligrams of calcium and 80 micrograms of vitamin K. Both of these nutrients are an essential part of healthy bone formation, so it’s very important for little ones to be eating them regularly. If your little one is able to eat smoothies this one is a great option.

Kale is yummy sautéed and raw but I think my son’s favorite way to eat it is in this vibrant smoothie. It tastes just like a creamsicle and it's super easy for an on the go snack. If you’re looking to save some time make this and freeze it in an ice cube tray to have for later. I hope you enjoy!
