Peach Sorbet

Is there anything better than summer? No school, time at the beach, and the best part, summer fruits. I seriously love them all but peaches have a special place in my heart because South Carolina is the “real” peach state after all. This peach sorbet recipe is simple and has only three ingredients. It takes no time to make and is a refreshing treat for a hot summer day and is perfect for the whole family.

Peach Sorbet Ingredients

Two out of the three ingredients in the peach sorbet recipe are household staples, water, and vanilla. The only extra ingredient you need is the peaches. I like to use fresh because I think they have so much more flavor than frozen, but you can use whatever organic frozen peaches you can get your hands on. You will need four very ripe peaches or about 3.5 cups if you are using previously frozen peaches, a half cup of filtered water, and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla.

  • Organic Frozen Peaches

  • Filtered Water

  • Vanilla Extract

How To Make The Peach Sorbet

If you are using fresh peaches you will first need to peel, chop and freeze them. This can take a couple of hours depending on your freezer, so just make sure they are all completely frozen. Next, you can place the peaches, filtered water, and vanilla extract in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour the mixture into a glass storage container and freezer for about an hour, until it’s nice and chilled but not hard. Scoop the peach sorbet into a bowl, add some whipped cream if you’d like, and enjoy.
