Almond Milk Latte

I recently had an almond milk latte from Pop & Bottle. We had been traveling and stopped at the grocery store on the way home, I hadn’t had coffee that day and was looking for something with clean ingredients. Pop & Bottle hit the spot! So much so that as soon as we got home I tried to recreate it, making something that tasted pretty close. The recipe here is a little different, just for ease, but is still delicious and easy.

Recipe Notes

Always try to use organic coffee that has been tested for mold. Choosing organic will ensure that synthetic pesticides haven’t been used on your coffee. Choosing a coffee that goes further than being organic and has been tested for toxins, like mold will help to ensure you are drinking something clean. Mold can grow on coffee beans when they are being stored, creating mycotoxins, some that are known carcinogens. This means that some of the toxins that grow on coffee beans have been proven to cause cancer. Just think, if you drink multiple cups of coffee a day, you could be ingesting large amounts of cancer-causing toxins every day. That’s why it is so important to choose a brand that tests for these substances. The brand I am currently using and loving is called Purity coffee, (click the link for $20 off your first purchase) and it is the kind used in my almond milk latte recipe.
